Although Microsoft does not expressly
list the basic concepts and theory of MTS as
part of the Designing and Implementing Distributed
Applications with Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0,
such a list is certainly implied.
In order to understand all the other objectives, a developer should have an
understanding of the basic features and architecture of MTS. Although it is beyond
the scope of this website to deal with details of the internals of MTS, a high
level approach to this topic is sufficient.
